Hi everyone! I’m Kelly and welcome to my blog. My Simply Fit Life is about living a healthy lifestyle by staying active, eating right and finding your balance to create happiness. For me that means working out and being as active as possible, discovering new recipes using whole foods and enjoying time with my family.
A couple years ago, after working for several years chained to a desk, with the support of my husband I took the leap and became a stay-at-home mom. After growing up with one myself, I saw it as a priority to be home for my daughter. Although this may be a challenge financially at times, it was the best decision I could have made.
Now here I am turning 40 this year (but age is just a number right??) and I’ve decided this will be a year to make some changes. I’ve been a fitness fanatic for over 20 years and my husband and I are constantly researching new workouts. When doing so we came across some fitness blogs that were so general and included no information that was new to us. The idea was born and I decided to start this blog and share some tips about working out, healthy food and family life.
